Beneficial Ownership Types indicate the type of ownership a person has over a business.

Available Types

Type	Description
CONTROL_PRONG	The single individual with significant responsibility to control, manage or direct a business. Only one person can be designated as the CONTROL_PRONG owner per business.
OWNERSHIP_PRONG	Each individual who, directly or indirectly, owns a significant percent or more of the equity interests of a business. Typically that significant percentage is defined as 25 percent.
